This month Stampin' Up!® celebrates its 20th Anniversary! In honor of this event, you can save 20% on select party stamp sets during the month of October.

I also have a number of different schedule-your-own Calendar classes you can call me about, including a 6"x6" Desktop Calendar, 8-1/2"x11" Wall Calendar, 12"x12" Wall Calendar, an Art Journal Calendar/Planner, a CD Case Calendar, and a Create-a-Calendar pocketbook sized kit (shown at right). These handcrafted pieces make cherished gifts for family and friends. All you need to do is buy the consumable supplies you'll want to use for your calendar(s), then schedule a time to come over and use my stampin' stuff to decorate, embellish, and personalize your project. You'll definitely want to make at least two calendars, because you'll want to keep one for yourself!

From October 1st through November 30th, you'll get a free stamp set from the Catalog Sampler for holding a workshop or other event with $350 or more in sales! I'm attending a Leadership Training Class starting November 3rd, and I need to hold one workshop per week during the month of November, and the first week of December. You can help me by booking a workshop, which you can hold in your home, or we can have it at my house. If you want to test the waters first, consider trying a playdate, or a lunchtime learning session first.
Playdate: This is much less formal than a workshop...it's like a private lesson. I can bring some supplies to you, show you how to use some tools or how to do a technique you want to learn, and we can make one project together. You are welcome to invite family, friends, and neighbors, and take the opportunity to gather orders to qualify for Hostess Benefits. Do you already meet together with a group of some sort regularly (like MOPS, a women's group, scripture studies, or an exercise or weight control class)? Great--I'd be happy to come in and provide some recreation for a portion of one of your group's upcoming meetings!
Lunchtime Learning Session: This is a great way to find some stamping friends at work, and to gather orders to qualify for Hostess Benefits. Put up flyers, or send out emails and see who shows up to check it out. I will bring in one project for you and your co-workers to do over lunch. Ladies, don't prejudge, even if you work mostly with men, this type of event can be a blast for everyone. Really, what wife or girlfriend wouldn't just melt if their husband or boyfriend brought a handmade card home to them??
Workshop: This is the best opportunity for you and your guests. I bring 4 projects for everyone to make, and there's plenty of time for everyone to ask questions and place orders. My Hostesses always get a special gift from me, plus they get the Idea Book & Catalog for free, as well as a free sample of each of the projects I demonstrate at their workshop! You can have your workshop in your home, in my home, or at any other location you can secure for us, such as a break room at your office, or a church meeting room.
Hostess Club: You can create your own monthly "club" with a group of 6-10 friends committing to spend as little as $15 per month. Club members take turns hosting a monthly workshop at my home, learning new techniques and making new projects every month! THANKSGIVING: Are you having guests for Thanksgiving, or are you looking for a fun way to add something festive to the table or the event without having to cook? If so, you should register (by October 25th!) for my Fall Festival Class, which will be held on November 6th. We'll make cards, placecards, and seasonal treat holders you can duplicate to include in your festivities! Order supplies the night of the class to recreate these projects at home, and get a 10% discount. I'll also help you prepare the supplies to take with you, using my cutters, punches, die-cutting machine, and other tools, so you and your family can sit down and assemble them together on Turkey Day.

Shhh...it's a secret...all I can say is that you'll have to try hard to keep the excitement from RUBBING off on you during November!!! Maybe these projects will give you a better idea of the upcoming special. [HINT: what's the best way to apply an image on your project without stamping it?]

New Monthly Web Site Feature: Video Projects
My SU! web site has a new feature, added just a few days ago.
Introducing...Monthly Video Projects!
Check out the October Video Projects of the Month, featuring a quick and easy Halloween card using the Just Jawing stamp set. This is a stamp set you can earn for FREE from October 1st through November 30th, when you have a workshop with at least $350 in sales!
There are also two additional projects shown, a scrapbook page, and a candy jar. The supplies needed for each project are listed on the page right next to the video. If you need any help in recreating the projects for yourself at home, or want to customize your project by using different supplies, just email me or call me at 719-205-5957 and I can help you create an alternate supply list.
Online Ordering Feature: Browse Projects
Have you gone to my web site yet to check out the Online Ordering? If you haven't, you should do that NOW...because there are hundreds of awesome projects on there, complete with supply lists you can use for ordering!
Before you browse the catalog and the projects, you'll want to register with my site. Don't worry, it's free, and all your information is completely private. It's only used by Stampin' Up! in conjunction with any orders you choose to place. And you can browse the catalog and projects at any time, without the obligation of a purchase.
Simply click on over to my SU! web site, then click on the words SHOP NOW, near the top right corner of the screen. If you aren't registered yet, or if your browser cookies have been cleared, you may get a screen prompting you to register or log in. If you are not prompted, and you haven't yet registered, choose the link to create an account. After you register on my web site and sign in with your new login, you can browse the products with the reassurance that I will receive notification and commission for all your purchases. This way, I will know what you've ordered online, and I can help you with ideas and tips about the merchandise you've ordered, and facilitate any of your other customer service needs. When you order from me, online or in person, you get so much more than just product!
Once you get to the Online Ordering page, be sure to click on the word SPECIALS in the left sidebar whenever you log in, so you don't miss out on any ONLINE ONLY ordering specials!
Once you've checked out the specials, click on the BROWSE PROJECTS link to see all the different cards, scrapbook pages, and paper crafting & gifts ideas.
All the supplies needed to recreate the project are listed right there on the same screen, with checkboxes you can use to add them to your order. How convenient is that!? Now, I have to explain, none of the instructions are listed for any of the projects--because that's what I am here for :-)
I can help you recreate any of the projects you find online, and we can work together to redesign any of them by mixing, matching, and substituting ink and paper colors, stamp sets, and accessories. I'm really good at redesigning complex projects into something much easier to put together, and much more cost effective for you, so please do not hesitate to let me know if I can be of service to you in this manner.
My Open Stamping Nights are great for this type of design consultation. I hold at least one of these per month, just check my Event Page for the next available date. You bring yourself and bring any supplies you already have, or some ideas for projects you want to make, and we can work together to create something that fits your time and budgeting needs. I am also available by FREE appointment for design consultation, so just give me a call at 719-205-5957 and we can make arrangements for a time and location that's convenient for you.
If you find a project you love and really want to make, but you don't want to buy full packages of all the supplies to make it with, then consider holding a workshop where you and your guests can make that project! However, please keep in mind that the more elaborate a project may be, the fewer projects we will have time to complete at your workshop, and the more likely it is that a nominal supply fee may be required.
For more complicated projects, I will do a class in your home if you can guarantee 6 paying guests at least 2 weeks in advance. Class fees will vary based on the projects you choose, so you'll need to call me so we can customize the projects to fit everyone's budget and needs.
